Settling In...

Now that my course is over, I'm really enjoying the fact that I have a lot more time to explore Barcelona.  It's been great to take my camera out each day and uncover new things to shoot.  Earlier this week, I found a great little plaza called Placa Reial...it reminded me of Plaza Mayor in Madrid (which ironically reminded me of Piazza San Marco in Venice!).  And yesterday, I went to the rooftop of Antoni Gaudi's Casa Mila (aka La Pedrera) which is an architectural wonderland sitting atop the city.  It is an amazing structure and it was a blast to photograph.

I also have a beautiful park near my apartment called Parc de la Ciutadella.  It is a great place to take a blanket and a book and just relax.  I didn't actually do that yesterday, but I did take a few photos of others doing exactly that.  I need to put the relaxing bit on my agenda someday soon :-)
