Apologies that I have been so negligent in updating over the last week. As most of you probably know, I'm finishing up my course and it's been quite a hectic time! I taught my last lesson this evening as a student-teacher...whew! It's been a long and challenging course, but I've learned SOO much ... about myself and about my abilities. It's been a great ride ... even the bumps in the road were a learning experience.
We have one last project to hand in that's due tomorrow afternoon. After that, the only thing standing in my way for a Trinity CERT is an interview with a moderator who comes in from London to interview us. Cross your fingers that it goes well on Friday afternoon :-)
My plan for the next four weeks while I'm still in Barcelona is to teach some classes at Oxford House (where I just had my course). I am hoping to get experience teaching different levels of English learners. I'm also going to try and get some private tutoring work. There are a few websites here in Barcelona that I've been told about where I can post an ad for some work. In addition, I want to take another course here that will give me more focus on teaching English in the business world. I'm thinking that may be a great option for me when I move back home.
Sorry that I don't have any photos to share this evening, but I'm hoping to get out and about a bit more now that the course is over and I won't have so much computer face-time!
